Two friends wearing black tops and drinking their tehtarik until the same volume is left in their cups is not a coincidence. Took a photo to commemorate the event lol.
Am referring to platonic friendships too! Sadly no boys in this Googled picture haha.
A friend is like a flower, a rose to be exact. Or maybe like a brand new gate, that never comes unlatched. A friend is like an owl, both beautiful and wise. Or perhaps a friend is like a ghost, whose spirit never dies. A friend is like a heart that goes strong until the end. Where would we be in this world if we didn't have a friend. - Breena C. Park
I KNOW I CAN BE UNORIGINAL AT TIMES. LIKE NOW XD. BUT, WHERE WOULD WE BE IN THIS WORLD IF WE DIDN'T HAVE A FRIEND?
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work:
If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!
Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not easily broken.
Yesterday's dinner and the-after-talk was definitely the start of something new besides ahem..!
1.Su Faye is joining Ushering. God spoke to you somemore. Amen amen! (Finally can rest, don't have to ask already! Lol.)
2.Wen Yi is attending university soon. Her mom tells her, "university is where you'd meet your soul mate". Your mom cracks me up.
3.Chian Hui is trusting God to lead her path. Girl, I'm super encouraged to hear your story and I know this one thing, God will bless you.
4.Jue Lyn is ready to get on with life! I'm thoroughly berbonded after yesterday night. Ditto the verse in green.
If only Tze-En and Chia Wen (and Michelle, our new member) was there to join the C1 girls' talk... I think the night couldn't have ended.:P
"... All things are gonna happen naturally Taking your advices and I'm looking at the bright side Balancing the whole thing." -Jason Mraz, "You and I Both"
So many times I agree with this - Girls Want To Be Swept Off Their Feet. What an irony, some people nicknamed me Snow White. LOLOLOLOL.
Signing off, Ahhh... God knows my wires and He will be my strength. :)
"Ow": 1. An expression of pain, with an exclamation point behind the word. I.e.: Ow! 2. A family name.
You did not get that from Wiki. XD.
I had so many funny moments hanging out with Joanna Ow and Jared Ow. Where else but The Curve and Ikano. ;)
It was my first day at Daiso where everything sells at RM5. Nothing priced less, nothing priced more. And they played this music - I assume it's called "Boy Meets Girl" (and I was right since I found it on YouTube. Yeah I actually found it!).
Imagine listening to this Japanese song four times in a row! Had no idea why the owner refused to switch songs. Even an elderly man was singing to the chorus of "Boy Meets Girl". So funny la.
This year's Christmas shopping was pretty fun!
Signing off,
You'd know you're supposed to walk to the escalator instead of using the lift when the lift reads "Pigs going down!". Ahahahhahaha. (Excuse me for being lame lol.)
11th-14th December. XYZ Encounter Camp 2008. Served at an National Service campsite at Raub, Pahang. (No joke.)
My camp tag and camp booklet posing for you.
NS has never looked this good, eh?
Aside from the yellowish water, it's not bad ler. ;)
Before I show you more pictures, let me thank Chian Hui! Girl, your bubbly spirit stays on. Thank you for taking all the pictures and I hope you don't mind me posting them up. Credits of pictures all goes to Ms. Jasmine Lee Chian Hui! - who by the way just turned 18 in less than a month.
The girls of C1/C2. Yours truly, Chian Hui, Petra, Christina and Sarah!
The Programmes people who couldn't stop thanking God for great weather! Chian Hui, me, Petra, Robin (he rarely smiles on pictures XD), Tai Chi Kong!
Part I of the Shave-off-the-Shaving-Cream-from-my-balloon Game.
Part II says it all.
Rachael being goofy as always. She's someone I look up to, holiness-wise. Though the picture kinda prooves otherwise lol. And seriously, I wasn't posing in that picture. I was unprepared. XD
Victor wants to have his own t-shirt with his shadow imprinted on it. Funny fellow! And he nicknamed me Joo Joo. Sorry Joo Li! XD
The T-Shirt signifies a lot of possibilities. Notice that there's a hand-phone number there? Lol.
Robin still didn't smile.
Perd Hung or Perrdy, Serene (Babiwati no. 1 - my dorm mate, hahhaha), Christina or Nana, and Kenn Quan who named himself Dwayne. Love the picture!
Chian Hui and a new friend I got to know, Michelle. =D
Chian Hui, smiling Robin, Kay Lee the dancing queen! (with Christina in the background).
Kayak.
I'd trade nothing than to hear God speak to me.
I didn't know that... unless I was myself, I cannot ever encounter God.
I didn't know that... God wants me to be His friend, more than me being His servant!
I didn't know that... my fear managed to stopped me from living out an exciting Christian life.
I didn't know that... I was trying to look for God in only the obvious places all these while. A super good and "chim" example: "God, why can't I be in that girl's position talking to him???"
Like Mathew, I was kicked right where it hurt.
But God is taking me to the journey of healing, already! Amen.
Signing off, We can walk together forever like this Lord, until the end of the road brings me to You. :)
I really wanted to give more of my attention to the planning of Encounter Camp. I'm putting my best into it, so are other people, but all in all our faith is in God that He will make this camp alive to every camper! ;)
THE FUUNNY THING THAT HAD TO HAPPEN TO ME BECAUSE IT WAS MY LAST DAY:
So anyway it was my last day of work and I had the privilege of being fetched by Joanna. She calls herself the dangerous driver because my mum constantly tells me to stick to 50km/hr on the roads.
It's not a bad thing, though. For both facts before and after "because".
So anyway after we parked at the opposite parking lot (Plaza Glomac), walking across to our workplace building was the only option.
But we were not familiar with the road and stairway system on how to get to the other side of the road.
So, being young, we explored our adventurous sides (PS: I didn't know Joanna was so daring! I'll tell you that later).
We walk and we walk until we see an open space.
There was a fountain there, too.
Now that I thought about it, it looks like a scene from Enchanted, right? The animated part in the beginning one.
Turning left, we saw a stair and above it, was the open air daylight and we saw Wisma Good Year (I don't have lots of pictures to show you because... well, I didn't think I would be getting lost haha).
Both of us squealed in delight.
Instead of a happy ending, we got a cacat ending once we were at the end of the bridge.
Joanna: Aiyah, just jump across lah. It's almost 9am.
Jue Lyn (looks down at the gap - there's a deep longkang hidden in between): E.r.r.
And I forgotten to tell you I was wearing khakis while Joanna, that girl was in her clean white pants!
She must be reading too much of Twilight. XD.
But like Princess Giselle, we were taken into reality's arms. "Let's go find another route."
Still, we finally found a way back to the Wisma - in one piece respectively.
THE FUUNNY PEOPLE I GET TO WORK WITH:
Dionne and Nicole.
I don't have to describe much about their personalities to you. You can guess right? Hehehe.
You two spiced up the office work. And meals with lots of sandwiches too! =D
Their friend, Warren.
He usually looks better but he's too busy hiding his guilt here. He was the one who prank called you, Su Faye! XD.
And the three of them are not even 17 yet.
Not forgetting Reis and Rich and CY! Don't have your pictures here but I've had a blast working with you =D
Ms. Joanna Ow Joo May!
Had a great experience working with you. Learnt a lot from you too. "It's always easier to blend in than to stand out". Yet, you were able to live the opposite. I'm encouraged. Hope I get the chance to know you even better in the days to come!
Signing off,
I want to be different in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. (1 Timothy 4:12).
Wai How imitating Wee Han; Joo Li imitating Janelle; Wei Wei imitating Iona.
"We can be original too okay."
Well I have to tell you our journey to PJ. I am hilariously-inspired to write this down.
This is Wei Wei's Honda Accord. Except that this picture taken from Google doesn't have its bumper sticking out hahaha.
It's no fun riding in Wei Wei's Honda Accord when the hot weather made every one of us - Chee Hong, Joo Li, Wei Wei, Wai How and me! - sweat like pigs. At least I know I was sweating like a pig.
Anyway, we paid the 60 cent toll and suddenly
the radio and the meter reader died.
Literally.
Even when Chee Hong stepped on the accelerator to its fullest, the meter reader read ZERO. I was pretty sure all of us freaked out like nobody's business.
Battery si liao. Almost.
But the meter reader worked again when the air-conditioner was shut off. We work hard to sweat harder than pigs, hehehe.
No choice lor. Got to turn back and drive Wai How's manual Wira.
For once, the Malaysian Wira was really a wira.
*Interrupted by an SMS sent by my mom*
Mum: PJ is raining very very very very very very very heavily. Drive carefully and ask the back seaters to buckle up.
I'm having mixed emotions these few days. Wait, months. Or maybe even years. It's swinging up and down. Urgh, hormones, let me put all the blame on you.
Still, God has been the same yesterday, today, and (will be) forevermore (Hebrews 12:8)! And my friends - these wonderful homo sapiens who take time to dig the best in me.
Just what a girl needs for her dose of sanity.

I saw a rainbow today.
I saw a lizard today, too.
The L-word was on my dad's car's side-view mirror. It couldn't fly away even though my dad was speeding at 120km/hr. That L-word made me felt sick when I saw its tail flipping all over the side-view mirror. Sumore it's the brown-brown kind. You know what I mean.
But the L-word wanted to survive - it could only hang on.
I feel like I need to learn from the L-word. To hang on. Even when life makes you look foolish (flipping tail) hanging on?
I can consider being a philosopher. Yeah, I know.

Wai How: I might be going on Wednesday. See lah. =D
Wei Wei, who told me to sleepover at Pek Kuan's house: See lah. If she lets me. HAHAHA.
Pek Kuan: Can I sleepover at your place? LOL.
Siew Mei: Your fringe looks absolutely nice! I also want.
Wee Han: Thanks Gweeky for 2 hrs of your time. Can't thank you enough =D
Aisha: "Explain to me again why I need a boyfriend" cracks me up. XD
Joo Li and Iona: Your compliments on my necklace makes me feel feminine (sorta) LOL.
Ivan: I'm not sleeping over at Wai How's house. Accuse me! XD
Chia Yee: Your handphone's so cool!!!! I want the dictionary part only though. Hehe.
Chee Hong: You and your new hair. XD
You. Yes, you: Buy an Andy McDonough CD! Ask me how.
I gotta say I'm super touched when Klang towners hit PJ!
Aisha, Iona, Rachel, Janelle, Wee Han, Andrew and Caleb!!!
This post is for you.
Rather, the pictures are for you.
Listen, I only have 3 pictures. T-H-R-E-E with humans.
XD
And I totally apologize on behalf of my town's behavior. Haha.
Wee Han had to brake abruptly because the car in front stopped suddenly. It was...
...this close to a crash.
Maybe not.
Can't remember if I was exaggerating.
(Had to show Janelle a crab. Sorry you didn't get to eat Fatty Crab XD)
The car stopped for the roadside van which menjaja food. Don't know what he was menjaja-ing. The driver was hungry. Janelle was hungry too!
Anyway.
We dined in Prince Cafe in SS2. What a logo.
I can't remember what triggered Wee Han's ear to turn red. Compare it nicely to Aisha's spoon from her drink. Not much difference in colour, right?
That's what I thought.
Can't comment on the food lah. I'd be too biased to do such a thing! Hehe.
We headed back to my house after dinner.
Wee Han, Janelle, and Iona with their favorite Enid Blyton titles.
Wee Han: The Gweeky Greedy Rabbit.
Janelle: The Fairies' Shoemaker.
Iona: The Little Brownie House.
The Little Brownie House (food obviously) should have been Janelle's! XD
And oh, my room's a certified girl room. *Applause*
Iona: Eh, your room got these empty boxes! This room's a certified girl room.
Rachel: But I don't have any empty boxes in my room.
LOL. Anyway, I have some pictures to show you!
(from left) Ms. Ding Tze-En and Ms. Liaw Su Faye looking picture perfect.
Can you spot me?
It's official. I permed my hair =D
Last but not least,
"Happy birthday Mommy!"
God knows how much you mean to me. God bless you!
(The birthday pics are still with Wei-En hahahhaa.)
Last week has been a good week, I would say. I don't know everything in life, but there was one thing that had been revealed to me quite clearly... and that is thinking twice before I rush into anything. God knows me in and out and He reminded me of this a few times! One of it was a forwarded mail. Thank you Chia Wen, Andrew and Joanna (if you're reading this)! The matter's been put off for a while now, but I am really thankful to each of you from the bottom of my heart =) Your words taught me a lot, too...
And then God used another person, my friend (if not, sister) Wei-En... Thanks so much for the reminder =) I am so happy that God put you in my life! Like you said, "Friends forever!"
God would not close the case without showing me a verse or a passage from the Bible... and so He did this morning... It was taken from Genesis (the first book in the Bible where God creates the world) Chapter 11, The Tower of Babel. The interpretation for me here was that God wants me to learn from Him and to listen and depend on Him, not just on my own strength (verse 6)... Thank you Lord Jesus for Your Words!
Definition of cell. Basic unit of life. I'm sure you know that.
Well, there's another definiton of cell. For me, anyway.
On every Friday night, ther's a gathering known as "Cell Group". Why cell, you may ask. That's because it's small lol!
It's like a Christian Fewlloship where we sing songs, play games, pray, read the Word, and eat! Malaysians and eating come together in one phrase. They're insperable lol.
And so after supper, some people tiba-tiba became hype and kept asking other people to take pictures.
This was before I joined them. They were syoking sendiri with all the silly poses they could think of...
Pose #2. From left: Jue Ann (aka the sister I 'love', if you rmbr my 1st post lol), Wei-En (the centre of attention in this pic), Joshua (syok himself with the girls isk), and Jia Hwei (or Jia in short --- Jiiiiiaaa is a poser. haha)
This pic was ok. Though I have to admit, I look a bit out of place hahaha. They all look so youngish. Blek.
Then I saw this pic. Even more out of place. Lol. Jia posed so nice but then I ruined it by looking elsewhere.
Siao. By the end of the night, I became more hyper than them. Thank God I was able to sleep. =)
