Give it a 60 minutes rest

The foursome in my family joined in late at 9.00.

We just sat in the living room with all lights off. Note, all lights of the living room off. Which meant the stairs light (not in the living room) was actually on. Hehe.

At first it was uncomfortable and we didn't know what to do, so it resulted to us staring at the digital clock on Astro decoder.

I took out my phone and played Corrine Bailey Rae. Girl put your records on, tell me your favorite song, just go ahead let your hair down.

Letting my hair down I did, since we didn't off the fan. We only off the lights right. :P

Coincidentally, the song from my phone was sang by dunno how many people on American Idol. And talking about American Idol, I'm supporting Matt Giraud - who btw did not deserve the bottom 2 spot last week lor...

Anyway.

My mom hearts Adam Lambert, the guy below.

She's not that tech-savvy, so when she said, "I want the background (of the shared home computer) playing an Adam Lambert song. Ke yi fang mah (Can fix anot)?"

@.@ Good thing there's no such thing.

My dad was quietly observing, while shaving manually. I asked him what he was doing (since I couldn't really see in the dark).

"Relaxing."

@.@ Well, it seemed funny at that second.

Can't really recall what my sister was doing. I only know she skipped her Pandu Puteri camp that night la.

I know Earth Hour was supposed to stir awareness on global warming, but it sort of warmed the atmosphere in our home too. Sighs.

Life can't be a dot

Googled image

When I was really young, I used to close my eyes and pretended that life never existed.

No exams, no schools, no people, no time, no world.

Again, I was really young. I think I was still in primary school.

I had a feeling that life was just an imagination.*

As I grow older right, those kind of thoughts disappeared. I was very occupied with life. I make more mistakes and learn new things. I worry and I have fun. I cry and I laugh. I change (physically) and I make new friends.

But what is life? Life wasn't about happy endings, or is it?

Many people are still looking for the answers to these questions.

I believe in Jesus. He saved my life. He pulled me out of the darkness (you know how people are naturally afraid of the dark? I think it's built in) - and I'm ever grateful because life now had meaning. I have this want to tell other people too.

What really matters in your life?

* Don't worry, I didn't have depressing thoughts when I was young. I was innocent lah lol.

Occupying myself and being occupied

1. Revising for Mid-Term (was supposed to post this last week).

(Hormonal imbalance) as a result of Psychology and Accounts.

2. American Idol Season 8.

Just can't miss an episode of this show even though it's losing its shine.

3. Pet Society.

It's in your Facebook. Chia Yee and Siew Mei and Joo Li and Wei Wei and Pek Kuan (didn't see Chee Hong's pet yet lol) are playing it also. And Siew Mei is clouding my mind by calling me cute. I didn't know I got pattern wan. XD

4. Muttons to Midnight Podcast.

2 Singaporean Radio DJs playing with lyrics on air. I laughed until I cried watching it the first time okay. A Must-Watch.

PS Chian Hui, Su Faye, Gene Harn, Germaine, and Christina, we watched this video during CG Retreat. Ridiculously funny. XD

Gravity

Set me free, leave me be
I don't want to fall another moment into your gravity
...

Sara Bareilles might be a one-hit wonder to some (with her overplayed "Love Song"), but "Gravity" is so soothing to the ears. It's underated, really.
