Whoever said that "Girls pull another girl's hair while fighting..." may just be right

All images are taken at Google's :)

With two well-known romantic comedy leading ladies - who are both very talented in their own ways - this movie passed by quickly without too much painful moments. I had a great time sweeping popcorns into my mouth watching the chick flick. Until my throat kind of got dry some more.

Before I walked in, I was more of a Anne Hathaway fan. But after watching it, I became more of Kate Hudson's lol. Not that Anne Hathaway didn't perform well or anything but Kate Hudson was absolutely lovable.

Liv (Hudson) is a Type A - strongheaded, impatient, miss No. 1 and I-must-be-perfect.
Emma (Hathaway) happens to be Type B - a people pleaser, I'm-human-so-it's-okay-to-cry.

That is until their wedding dates were booked mistakenly for the same date (you must understand that this is for drama purposes lol). Slowly, the brides-to-be have a roller coaster ride respectively, getting sabotaged by each other - WAR! - and another side of their personality began to illuminate.

Emma who was a Type B becomes bolder than ever and starts shedding her patience while Liv, previously a Type A begins to mellow down and misses her girl friend with all the fighting going on.

Maybe that's why I loved Kate Hudson's performance so much. XD

But the best part of the movie was NOT:
- the girls
- the boys
- the dresses (Liv wore a Vera Wang)
- the popcorn (of course not!)

It was the music. They are now hooked on me. Included are Colbie Cailat (Somethin' Special), Natasha Bedingfield (Happy) and Natalie Coleman (This Will Be).

The songs make you happy one. Really!

Maybe you're listening to one now and you didn't even took notice lol.

This movie scored (for me) because of its happy tunes.

Signing off,
Did you realised that every letter that starts with Q is followed by U?
Queen, Quiet, Quest, Quill...
I didn't.
It took my mom to tell me that! XD

Well, it wasn't Lala.

Hormones googled.

I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I told myself (and my friends), a Japanese chick flick won't hurt.

Sure.

That was until the movie started. It wasn't half-close to Japanese. My left hand covered my left eye and my right hand did the same.

"Psst! It's a Thai film!"

Oh-oh. Rated U some more. Sure anot??

Well, I was proven wrong as a doubting Thomas. I actually won't mind watching Hormones again! This is getting ridiculously cheesy, I know.

Hormones adapts the Love Actually concept. If unfamiliar, imagine the Enid Blyton concept. "Hormones and other stories".

Well no. Not really. This movie is divided into 4 sagas where characters of different sagas don't actually know each other.

ONE: Two boys who find pleasure competing for the same girl's hand phone number.

TWO: One girl who is the overly-obsessed fan of Taiwanese pop singer.

THREE: A young man who has thoughts of lust after his girlfriend leaves for a summer break.

FOUR: A geek who falls for his best friend, the school's most popular girl.

Movie trailer.

Signing off,
Having pins-and-needles now.

Twilight Updated!

Twilight. 12.12.08

Heard anything about the fuss over Twilight? You might have, you might have not. It's ok. I'll give you a fussssss about it! *evil laughters*

I got addicted to Twilight when I was um 16. Haha. I actually do honestly feel a bit old for this story now. It seemed to fit in then. Seriously, your hands don't just let go of the book. Your mind stays with the plot as well. My days were baaaaaaad while I was waiting for the sequels to be published. Yes, Twilight is the first of the trilogy, New Moon being the second, and Eclipse being the third. And yes, there's a book no. 4!

This a bittersweet romance novel for first-time readers. Just in case you have blank idea about Twilight, Stephenie Meyer tells of a story of a high school romance between a vampire and a mortal. That's right, cliche. Lol. Oh and I forgotten, werewolves are not excluded!

You're probably thinking this is some kind of Facebook application. Vampires?! Werewolves?! *faints*

Before you leave my blog, let me tell you this, this book is the best-selling book according to New York Times, so you might as well think twice about leaving my blog!!! Hahah. No lar, I won't force you into reading things you're not interested in ;)

I'm not gonna do a book review now, but if this book holds your attention (somehow), click on the link above - it's below the pics. You'll understand more about the plot there.

The movie's coming out on 12.12.08 in the States. Not sure when it'll hit the big screens in Malaysia. But if any news enters my radius, I'll let you know =)

Till then, here's a sneak peak for Twilight the movie...
